Hendricks County Bank and Trust Company has been meeting the financial needs of the rapidly growing Hendricks County community since 1908 and to this day remains locally owned. The bank is dedicated to supporting business growth, the local economy, area employment, and a better standard of life, priding itself on being a part of the community, not simply in the community.

The expert and friendly staff assist with personal banking, business banking, loans and additional financial service products.

Brownsburg State Bank, founded in April 1908, purchased all the buildings in a one-block area along Main Street in Brownsburg in 1963. The old buildings were demolished and a new banking building was erected on the corner which still houses the Hendricks County Bank corporate offices.

In January 1974, Brownsburg State Bank merged with Hendricks County Bank and Trust Company of Plainfield, a bank that began operations in April 1960. In 1982 a one-bank holding company, Midstate Financial Corporation was formed.

With existing locations in Brownsburg, Brownsburg Square, Danville and Plainfield, Hendricks County Bank opened its newest Avon Banking Center in September 2007, the bank’s fifth location in Hendricks County.
